Refuge

Pastor Steven and Pastor Kim Clements

Refuge exists to EXTEND by bringing non-believing students to Christ and by worshipping God, to INVOLVE them with each other and in ministry to others, and to EQUIP students in their faith. That is the reason we exist - our purpose. But the way we bring about all of those things varies and changes all the time with various activities. We want students to know that having a relationship with Christ is the best thing they could ever choose.

Refuge’s main event for students grades 6-12 is in the Ministry Center on Saturdays at 7:00 pm. Each of our purposes are encompassed in this night, but EXTENDing to non-believing students is the focus. We have worship and a message geared for today’s students. Afterwards, there is a café and games are set up for students to enjoy.

Refuge-e-groups are our small groups for grades 6-12 meet in the Ministry Center at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays to discuss issues relevant to students’ lives. These small groups serve two purposes to INVOLVE them with each other, and to EQUIP students in their faith.

Teen Bible Quiz (TBQ) This group for grades 7-12 focuses on EQUIPping students through memorization of scripture. We meet on Sundays at 8:00 am.

Refuge has a web site for youth at www.calvarycl.com/refuge.
